7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUEGONG AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.

8. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Duegong against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we need to do so for legal or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction we designate in a future update, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your country.
